Sharjah Ladies Club wins 5 awards in the 5th Financial Performance Excellence Awards

In the 5th edition of the Financial Performance Excellence Awards, Sharjah Ladies Club has been awarded the Leading Emiri awards in 5 categories in Financial Performance, including the Financial Performance Excellence award, Budgeting Standards award, Account Standards award, and the Purchasing and Revenue awards. Sharjah Finance Department (SCFD) held the honoring ceremony at the Al Qasimi University Theatre in the University City of Sharjah, in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Saud Al Qasimi, Chairman of the SCFD.

The awards aim to promote a culture of excellence in government financial performance, in accordance with the requirements of the Sharjah government. The government’s aim is to improve the financial system by honoring distinguished institutions and individuals within the governmental, independent, and Emiri financial sectors, rewarding them for their efforts in improving resource management and preserving public funds.

On this occasion, Khawla Al Serkal, Director General of Sharjah Ladies Club, said: “Firstly, I would like to extend my gratitude to Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, wife of the Ruler of Sharjah, Chairperson of Sharjah Ladies Club, for her continuous support for the club and its branches. Without her invaluable guidance and support in providing encouragement and all the resources possible, we would not have been able to reach such a high standard of financial performance. This, in turn, has enabled us to win awards in no fewer than 5 different categories. We continue to aspire to excellence in financial performance, to achieve financial development and sustainability.”

She also noted that this latest achievement can be added to the long list of accolades given to Sharjah Ladies Club, which offers a unique and high-standard experience as a leading destination for women in the region. The Club's ethos is empowerment and wellness in different fields, aiming to help women grow their ambitions, creativity, and sense of independence.
