Refashioned Ebriez Beach Bazaar: a Resounding Success

In line with its dedication to developing women’s knowledge and expertise, Sharjah Ladies Club (SLC) Ebriez Beach Bazaar, the one-of-a-kind annual beachfront festival, recently concluded. The revamped edition of Ebriez Bazaar, which was held at the SLC beach terrace, saw a great turnout of fashion- and culture-loving women who indulged in exclusive retail therapy being offered by leading female-owned and operated fashion and lifestyle businesses in the UAE and the region.
SLC offered its vibrant networking platform to connect talented artists and new,women-owned businesses to its clients and guests, and offered local boutique businesses an opportunity to showcase their new product lines in clothing, jewellery and perfumes. An array of activities dedicated to women and children was also organised on the side-lines of the event.

SLC also offered all of Ebriez Beach Bazaar vendors an opportunity to give back to community by supporting the ‘Allama Bil Qalam’ initiative that was launched by the Sharjah Social Empowerment Foundation (SSEF) as a large-scale academic empowerment project, which aims to provide orphans access to education.

Khawla Al Serkal, Director General of SLC, said: “Each year, the Ebriez Bazaar has played a vital role bringing new and established female talents in fashion and jewellery together in one destination, and showcase their creativity to a large audience of discerning ladies keen to buy their product. The event is a reflection of SLC commitment to boost opportunities available to female-owned enterprises, by offering them a platform to showcase their talent, and connect with the larger business community as well as prospective buyers.”

She added: “The Bazar supports SSEF’s ‘Allem Bil Qalam’ initiative, a large-scale academic empowerment project that aims to provide orphans access to education and develop their skills to become leaders in the future. Ebriez reflects our commitment to social responsibility and provides ladies with the opportunity to express their creativity, pursue their aspirations and achieve success.”
SLC called on all business women and female entrepreneurs exhibiting at the bazaar to support Ebriez’s charitable campaign, which featured a special exhibition to support the SSEF’s ‘Allama Bil Qalam’ initiative. Every product displayed was sold for AED 200, and the entirety of proceeds were dedicated to the initiative.
