Sharjah Ladies Club prepares for ‘Let’s Celebrate School’ event

With the new academic year almost upon us, Sharjah Ladies Club is preparing to host a very special ‘Let’s Celebrate School’ event. Scheduled for August 17th and running from 8am until 5pm at the Kunooz ballroom, the event is designed to prepare students for the new semester with an engaging mix of educational and entertaining activities.

The event will feature a range of captivating workshops, which aim to improve children’s mental preparedness for the start of the school year. The event will also provide parents with a chance to stock-up on much-needed school essentials, with various school supply vendors setting out their products.

Emphasizing the importance of the event for students of all ages, Sharjah Ladies Club’s Director of Corporate Communications, Mrs. Duaa Al Mahri, said: “As the summer vacation comes to an end, Sharjah Ladies Club is delighted to present our ‘Let’s Celebrate School’ event. This is a special day dedicated to equipping children with the necessary resources they need to embark on a fresh academic year with confidence and face a new chapter in their academic journeys. Through thoughtfully curated activities, we help instil positive mental attitude they require at the start of a new semester and give parents a chance to choose school supplies from a range of highly respected stockists.”

She continued: “we are committed to creating a safe and supportive environment for women and children, through services and events that enrich their lives and benefit the wider community.”

The club’s facilities will be offering numerous activities. Collage Talent Centre and Basateen Preschool Centre will provide arts and craft sessions, games and child-friendly Zumba classes. Meanwhile, Orchid Beauty Boutique will be providing stylish haircuts for the start of term and pampering sessions to help students and parents relax and recharge.

On the sidelines of the event, there will be an engaging workshop presented by Health Promotion. This workshop aims to educate children about preparing healthy snacks for their school lunchboxes.
