Sharjah Ladies Club has received the Outstanding Wellness Hero title, alongside the Wellness Leadership Certificate, from World Wellness Weekend, in recognition of its ongoing efforts to raise health awareness among women and promote their wellbeing.

This year’s global recognition was led by the Club’s comprehensive media and awareness campaign, implemented as part of its seventh consecutive participation in World Wellness Weekend. The campaign featured specialised content encouraging women to adopted healthier and balanced lifestyles. The campaign expanded SLC’s reach across global wellness platforms and played an essential role in earning this year’s title.

This recognition also builds on the Club’s established record in women’s wellness, having previously received the Wellness Champion title for three consecutive years, in addition to the Wellness Hero 2024 title. These achievements reflect the Club’s commitment to implanting wellness concepts across its year-round programmes and initiatives for women, particularly its employees, in line with its commitments to empowering women and enhancing their health and overall quality of life.

Commenting on the achievement, Shaikha Al Suwaidi, Deputy Director General of Sharjah Ladies Club, said:

This achievement was made possible through the dedicated efforts of the Club’s team and the guidance Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohamed Al Qasimi, Wife of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, Chairperson of Sharjah Family and Community Council, whose vision continues to place women’s empowerment at its core. We take pride in being a certified destination for women’s wellness in the UAE, and we will continue to develop our health programmes and launch focused initiatives that enhance women’s wellbeing and strengthen their role within the community.”

Throughout the World Wellness Weekend activities, the Club delivered a diverse range of workshops and sessions, including fitness activities, workshops on nutrition and mental health, beauty care sessions, as well as yoga and meditation sessions, benefiting more than 180 women. The Club also expressed its appreciation to its sponsors for supporting the event’s success, extending thanks to Dr. Sheyas Center, Vitasign, and the Ishaq Bin Omran Center.

Sharjah Ladies Club and its branches were established under the vision of Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Wife of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah and Chairperson of Sharjah Hospitality Group, to serve as a leading hub for women’s empowerment in the UAE.
