At First, Marwa Al Khatib, Senior Media & Advertising Executive at SLC, welcomed all representatives of various government and private institutions as well as media representatives. Al Khatib thanked them for their unwavering support for the club’s events and activities which serves women and children and seeks ultimate respite for its visitors. Then, Khawla Al Serkal was called upon stage to give her speech on this occasion and award all sponsors with certificates of appreciation.
“During the past year, Sharjah Ladies Club organized more than 50 events which you have actively supported—yielding about 600 press coverage mentions by our media partners who were committed to extending an unlimited support and serve the club’s objectives and vision, mainly being devoted for women and children”, said Khawla Al Serkal – SLC Director.
Al Serkal added: “Among the outstanding events that Sharjah Ladies Club organized last year is the celebration of its 30th anniversary. The club also held the Ramadan Bazaar and Charity Suhoor event, held in line with the Be-Cause Campaign, proceeds of which were donated to the Big Heart Campaign in support of the Syrian refugee children. The Big Heart Campaign was launched under the patronage of The Wife of the Ruler of Sharjah, Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs, Chairperson of Sharjah Ladies Club. In addition, the Runway Kids Fashion Show was organized by Sharjah Ladies Club in partnership with Bloomingdales-Dubai. All the way, our events enjoyed grand success because of your joint efforts bringing the desired outcomes to life.”
On the other hand, Sharjah Ladies Club Branches and Women Sports Department (WSD) with the presence of Amna Al Shenasi and Nada Al Naqbi awarded sponsors and media who have been cooperating with them in 2013, and their unwavering support in achieving the club’s goals and vision.
