Emirate Competencies Promoted for Leadership positions In Sharjah Ladies Club

Sharjah Ladies Club announced a number of promotions on several leadership positions in various departments, under the management of SLC director Khawla Al Serkal, in order to give reliable competencies in leading various departments under complete professionalism and dedication.

“Islamic Arts” Workshops Held at SLC

The Art & Educational Center at Sharjah Ladies Club held several “Islamic Arts” workshops, 3 years in a row, and that is within the activities of the 15^th Sharjah Islamic Arts festival, organized by Arts Management at the Sharjah Department of Culture and Information. The workshops included various types of Islamic arts presented by artist Forouzan Amiri; with proficient experience in the Art (painting) teaching.

Winter Sports Camp at SLC - 2012

The Sports Department at Sharjah Ladies Club, organized a “Winter Sports Camp” for children which continued for a period of 3 weeks. The event included several activities such as water polo games, cooking, glide and slide, fun on ice, and weekly trips at various places. The program aims to develop technical skills, sports, social and educational skills for children in an atmosphere of fun during the winter holiday.

Her Excellency Sheikha Bodour Al Qassimi Attends Ice Skating Show At Sharjah Ladies Club

Under the patronage of the Wife of the Ruler of Sharjah, Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher Bint Mohamed Al Qassimi, Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs, Chairperson of Sharjah Ladies Club. With the presence of Her Excellency Sheikha Bodour Bint Sultan Al Qassimi, Vice Chairperson of Sharjah Ladies Club, the SLC held its annual ice skating show “Little Mermaid” on ice. The event is sponsored by Ice-watch and Lifestyle Fine Jewelry. The event was attended by Noura Al Noman, Director General of the Executive office of HH Sheikha Jawaher Al Qassimi, along with Khawla Al Serkal, Director of Sharjah Ladies Club, and a number of vips and managers of governmental institutes.

SLC Celebrating 41st National Day - Beladi

Sharjah Ladies Club Celebrated the 41^st UAE National day with its “Beladi” event, sponsored by Sharjah Islamic Bank and Watani, which included several activities held all over the club, a parade by Basateen Preschool Center, a mini bazaar as well as a children’s playground zone.

SLC Signs Supply Agreement with Movenpick Ice Cream

Sharjah Ladies Club announced the signing of a supply agreement with Movenpick Ice Cream at the club in the attendance of Alya Al Harmoudi, Assistant Business Manager at SLC, and Michael Hager, COO of United Cool General Trading (UCGT). This comes as part of the current strategies of the club which aim to coordinate and associate with various local and international institutes.

The agreement was signed to initiate a supply tie-up with Movenpick Ice Cream at Sharjah Ladies Club, and will last for period of one year from May 2012 to May 2012 during which SLC will facilitate Movenpick Ice Cream at the club. SLC will be offering a range of flavors of ice cream, such as vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry flavor.

“The signing of this agreement with Movenpick Ice Cream reflects the club’s constant aim in providing what is best available for our members. Being a 5 star venue, we wanted to offer a high-end product to be associated with Lafeef and provide luxurious services. We are glad to offer such a world-class ice cream brand in SLC. The agreement will allow for strengthening the relationship between SLC and different organizations and companies, including government, private, and world-class brands. We hope to continue offering and building relationships with more prestigious and internationally known companies, in the framework of reflecting the club’s constant efforts in providing what is best for its members”, said Alya Al Harmoudi, Assistant Business Manager at SLC.

On this occasion, Michael Hager COO of (UCGT) said: "We are excited to be the ice cream supplier of choice for Sharjah Ladies Club which is known to secure the best of the best for its members in their attractive location, overlooking the coastline of Sharjah.”

It is worthy to mention that Movenpick Ice Cream will be available in June at Sharjah Ladies Club, and will be available in a range of flavors. Additional flavors will be featured later this year depending on customers’ response. Movenpick is a Swiss brand that is popular in Europe, and is known for its rich and creamy ice cream.
