Rules & Regulations
Dear Valued Members:
The Manager and staff of SLC extend a warm welcome to you and wish all of our Members and Guests a most enjoyable time with us. To enable everyone to make full use of the Club, it is vital that we have some guidelines to ensure the comfort and safety of all of you. To this end, we would like to draw your attention to the following guidelines and hope you will understand and accept them in the spirit in which they have been drafted.
Guidelines for Members & Guests of SLC
- All club members and guests using the facilities do so entirely at their own risk. Guests
are responsible for their own safety and belongings. Sharjah Ladies Club does not
assume any responsibility or liability for loss of, or damage to, property or for injury to
any person.
- If Members or Guests destroy or cause damage to the property of SLC, they will
be required to pay for such damage.
- If a Member or any of her Guests break any of the attached rules, (SLC reserves the
right to revoke the membership of the member, without refunding the amount):
1. Members should keep membership cards with them at all times as they may be
required to produce the card within the premises.
2. Guests of Members and Non-Members are obliged to pay the club Entrance Fee at
Leisure pool receptionist and beach area. . Entry Tickets are available for sale between 8:00am- 8:00pm Saturday to Thursday and 2:00 pm- 8:00 pm Friday. Members who wish to invite their guests. should accompany them during the purchase of the ticket.
3. If you are a Non Member and have reservations at any of the Club facilities (Lafeef
Restaurant, Dalouk Spa or Orchid Beauty Boutique), you may enter the Club without
paying any entrance fee. Gate attendants will call the facility to confirm your reservation
before allowing you to proceed.
4. Members may be dropped off by male drivers close to Club facilities, but drivers may
only drop off and pick up ladies and children. Drivers must wait outside in the parking area
at the Security gate. Non Members paying the daily entrance fee will be asked to park in
the parking area outside, close to the main SLC gate.
5. Members and Guests should note that parking areas in front of the Club facilities (Fitness
Centre, Lafeef Restaurant, Nursery, Banquet Hall, Ice Skating Rink, and Art Center)
are public areas and may have male drivers picking up and dropping off ladies and
children. The areas in front of and behind the facilities are strictly for ladies and Children
only. Men are not allowed in these areas (except for Mondays when vital maintenance
work will be carried out until 10:00 am).
6. Guest must keep their entry tickets with them at all times as they should be shown
before using any of the facilities.
7. Guests should note that gate Security staff reserves the right to search bags (Members and
Guests are not allowed to bring food or beverages into the club under any circumstances).
8. Lafeef Restaurant has been designated as an area where young children under the age of
10 are not allowed to allow ladies to enjoy a quiet meal or coffee. They are however, most
welcome in Skate Café where we have provided high chairs, T.V and a designated play are..
9. Beach timing is from 8:00am to half an hour after sunset. It is not allowed to swim or use
the beach area at any other time to ensure your safety.
10. All Members and Guests will be required to pay 50 Dhs deposit for towels and locker
keys but deposits will be returned when the towel and key are returned to reception. If you
lose a towel, there will be a charge of 50 Dhs, while keys are charged at 120 Dhs each.
11. Parents or Guardians are responsible for the behavior of their children and should ensure
that young children under 14 years do not use Club facilities without adult supervision.
12. If a Club Member would like to purchase a Fitness Membership, the duration of the
Fitness Membership should not exceed that of their Club Membership for the offered
discount to apply; otherwise the full price is charged. Rules & Condition of the Fitness
Centre apply.
13. Members and guests should wear appropriate swimming attire which includes a swimming
cap & goggles. Changing of swimwear/clothes should only be done in the changing rooms.
14 .PERSONAL BELONGINGS. Members and Guests are responsible for personal property.
If staff find unattended belongings, they will remove and hand over to the Main Reception,
where they can be reclaimed.
15. CAMERAS. Please respect the privacy of your fellow Members & Guests and refrain from
taking pictures within the Club grounds. The camera feature of mobile telephones should
not be used either. Should any complaints be received, the equipment will by security and
may be collected at our Main Reception.
16. DRESS CODE for LADIES. Appropriate clothing should be worn at all times around the
Club. Ladies must cover up when leaving the pool or beach areas and before entering any
of our food outlets. You should not enter other areas of the Club while wearing bathing
suits. Please respect SLC Members and Guests.
17. Club Membership cannot be ‘frozen’ in time for any reason.
18. To ensure the comfort and security of Sharjah Ladies Club Members and Guests, we would
like to inform you that the wearing of niqaab inside the facilities is no longer allowed.
19. In line with the country’s efforts for public safety, we’ve established a no smoking policy
within the premises of the club, with the exception of the skate café terrace area.
20. In aim to provide safe and comfort surroundings for all Members and Guest, pet entry is
prohibited in the club.
21. To ensure the safety and comfort of all members, it has been decided that riding bicycles
or any form of skate boarding is prohibited in the club.
We hope you will respect and comply with the Rules & Regulations of the Club as they are there to ensure all of our Members and Guests have an enjoyable and memorable experience
at Sharjah Ladies Club.
Amendments or additions may be made during the year to allow the Club to protect the privacy and safety of all of our treasured Members and Guests.
