SLC marked its annual staff gathering with team building activities and award presentations

Sharjah Ladies Club outlines strategic goals
and vision for 2020 at annual staff meet

 

In the presence of senior management and staff members, Sharjah Ladies Club (SLC) held its annual staff gathering on December 12 at the Beach Terrace, where it outlined some of the new strategic goals designed to take the organization forward to its next phase of growth and expansion.

Team building activities and Team building activities and award ceremony to acknowledging staff members who serve SLC for 20 years. As well as, 26 different awards for exceptional employees such as Leader of the Year Award 2019, Outstanding Performance Award, Outstanding Customer Care Award, Most Improved Facility Award, Outstanding Admin Section Award, individuals from different facilities were also awarded.

Speaking at the event, Khawla Al Serkal, Director General of SLC, attributed the exemplary success of the organisation in 2019 to the dedication, commitment and team spirit of the staff members. “The difference between the success and failure of any organization is a great team and together, we have demonstrated how our collaborative spirit has helped us work unitedly and passionately toward achieving a common vision, and borne promising results,” she said.

SLC aspires to maintain its leading position that provide value-added services and products, she added, sharing the new strategic goals envisioned for SLC in 2020 with all staff members.

“Going forward, let us continue to spread the positive role of the Club in giving back to the community with innovation and creativity to advance the professional skills development of our team members.” said Al Serkal. “

Aysha Bahyan, Head of HR & Organizational at SLC, also reiterated how SLC’s year-on-year growth including the upgradation of its facilities was the result of cohesive efforts of a goal-oriented and strongly united team who “responded quickly to the needs of members and always paid attention to detail.”

“Our staff has been our greatest asset, and we have achieved so much only because we have worked unitedly towards realizing our common vision of reinforcing the Club’s position as a haven of creativity and wellbeing for women and children,” she said.
